Deciding on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms is the easiest part. A number of other important factors will play a part in your choice of home:
Location, Location, Location!
The old saying about the most important factor when choosing a property is still as relevant today as it has ever been. Location can be one of the toughest choices especially when you have a budget to stick to. Many factors apply when you are thinking about location:
Work Family Schools Shopping Transportation Entertainment
Lifestyle
Inner City or Suburbia. City, Town or Acreage Living.
What you plan to do while you are at home will be an important deciding factor in what kind of real estate that you want.
Condo or Single Family, New or Resale?
If you have a hectic lifestyle and do not want the maintenance hassles of a yard you might want to consider a Condo. New properties give you the option of choosing what options you want and give you a new home warranty. You usually have to look after landscaping, fence building and finishing the basement.
Resale properties on the other hand offer you an established neighbourhood as well as other amenities. The age of a house can also mean that you have some items that might need to be upgraded or replaced.
Figuring it all out...
One of the services we offer to help you with your search is to sit down with you and to discuss your needs and expectations. We are expecting you to ask lots of questions (there are no silly questions!).
Being able to work with a REALTOR ® who you feel comfortable with and can trust to represent your interests during the purchase process is very important.
Most importantly have fun! This should not be a highly stressful process. If you would be interested in setting up an appointment to discuss your needs click here
